"'Heresy,' by the way, simply means 'choice'. It came to mean 'thoughtcrime', implying it was blasphemy to presume to choose your own belief instead of swallowing what the bishops spoonfed you."

WTF do I mean by "heretical projects"?
Most folks like to create within the lines - playing it safe on content and messaging. Since some communities lean heavily into orthodoxy (believing the "right" thing), a person with a differing view might be seen as a heretic. Someone to shun, to shame, and to silence through pressure.
Same with those who are able to wade through paradox - holding seemingly contradictory truths in their own worldview. It's dangerous to have people who think outside of a binary (right/wrong, good/evil, etc.)
So creations that contradict what "someone like me" should produce - that's how I define a "heretical project".
